# The State of Mobile App Security 2026

Quokka performed an analysis of more than 150,000 mobile applications throughout 2025. Now, we’re taking a look across those scans to better understand the security risks present across today’s mobile ecosystem. The results show that foundational security weaknesses remain widespread across both Android and iOS apps, often exposing sensitive data, weakening encryption protections, or creating exploitable attack paths.
